The Smiddy 4-Day Challenge – Take on South East Queensland

Take on South East Queensland’s best cycling over the October long weekend!

The only Smiddy event to start and finish in Brisbane, the Smiddy 4-Day Challenge will see you tackle some of South East Queensland’s most scenic and challenging terrain, navigating the Brisbane Valley, Great Dividing Range and the Darling Downs before returning to Brisbane through the Lockyer Valley.

This event is ideal for those new to cycling, or anyone looking to ease back into it after a break. It’s also held over a long weekend which means minimal time off work. All the Smiddy spirit, half the time, and a new route taking in roads never traversed by a Smiddy peloton. The Smiddy 4-Day Challenge is perfect for cycling veterans and first-timers alike.

For those longing for something a little more challenging, you may prefer the Townsville to Brisbane Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge.

Your accommodation, meals and ride nutrition are all taken care of by the dedicated Smiddy road crew, and the tour mechanic and front and rear support vehicles make sure enjoy every minute of your ride.
