Discover winter cycling

We live to discover new riding locations but what makes us truly happy is being able to share these experiences with our friends (that’s you guys). Following our recent Big Ride to Byron Bay we simply had to find a way to return. With the help of the folks at Lifecycles Travel we’ve put together an itinerary designed to soak up the very best of the coast and hinterland.

We’ll start with coffee by the sea, venture into the hidden wilderness of the surrounding hinterland and explore some of the local delights before plunging into the ocean for a post-ride dip. Better still, we (and we hope, you) will do all of this when most of our friends and family are rugged up sitting by the fire trying to get warm.

Up in Byron Bay, winter is arguably the best time to visit. The morning temperature is perfect, the roads are quiet and the team at Lifecycles Travel know this area like the back of their hand. Having relished in the ‘Hinterlanding‘ experience for ourselves, it’s not hard to understand why Lifecycles has made this place home.

For our next trip to Bryon, we want you to come with us. We’ve scouted the routes, selected the best accommodation, chosen the best local produce, sampled all the local drops and crafted a stellar four-day, three-ride and three-night trip from 22-25 August.
