This year’s competition was about more than just great coffee. With plenty of goodies up for grabs we’re proud to announce the prize winners from this year’s Cyclist Coffee Stop of the Year – fuelled by CLIF BAR.

Thanks to all you readers who showed your coffee stop some appreciation by voting and making this competition such a success, we think it’s only fair you also get a little loving thrown your way. Here are the lucky winners…

Profile Design 38/Twenty Four wheelset

Value: $2,699

WINNER: Andrew Lind, NSW

CFD and wind-tunnel designed and tested, the Twenty Four series of carbon clincher wheels from Profile Design are built to deliver the perfect balance of speed, ride ability and weight. The 38s, designed with a 24mm wide braking track – for greater control in all conditions – feature outstanding braking performance thanks to the heat-resistant design and specific pad compound. Built around proprietary hubs and laced to renowned Sapim CX Ray spokes, the lightweight 1,465g (front and rear) package is all you’ll need – year round.

Breville Oracle coffee machine
Value: $2,499

WINNER: Shaun Jennison, NSW

You get the best of both worlds with Breville’s the Oracle. Until now you’ve been asked to choose between a manual or automatic espresso machine; the Oracle is the world’s first automatic manual espresso machine with automatic grinding, dosing, tampering and milk texturing, eliminating the most difficult parts of manual espresso. On top of making your morning cafe-quality coffee as easy to whip up as a cup of instant, the Oracle also features an Over Pressure Valve which limits the maximum pressure throughout extraction, preventing any of the nasty, bitter flavours you’ll get from an over-extracted shot and ensuring every shot of coffee is perfect.

S’Cool Rax 20″
Value: $999

WINNER: Brett Roberts, VIC

It shouldn’t just be mum or dad that get to enjoy high-end performance when out on the road. Thanks to the folks at S’COOL (pronounced ’Skool’), your six-year-old son or daughter will be given every chance to crush their friends in the hills (and you) with one of the lightest 20” production kids’ road bikes on the market, coming in at a cool 7.8kg. Fitted with all the trimmings including a Shimano Sora groupset, this race-ready weapon is, of course, UCI-approved!
