Garmin Vector Power Meter Pedals

It’s been a long time coming, but the Vector has finally hit stores

After Garmin postponed the Vector’s scheduled release date – back when dinosaurs roamed the earth (well, not really, but it feels that way) – hopes of getting them under our feet in 2012 were shattered. As you can imagine, with Garmin announcing the Vector’s immediate release as of today, Christmas seems to have come early for us at Cyclist. Why are these high-precision pedal-based power metres on the top of our must-have list, you ask? Not only do they take just a few minutes to install and are super easy to use, the Vector provides accurate and reliable power data – uniquely measuring and presenting right and left leg power balance to ANT+ compatible head units. Retailing at $1,699, we know where our next pay cheque is going.

To get all the juicy Vector details in the upcoming issue of Cyclist, subscribe to our magazine or iPad edition. In the meantime, try not to drool on the keyboard when checking out the Garmin Vector mini site.
